I bought the original vinyl back in 1979 when I was a child and wore it out within a few years from overplaying, so I really couldn't do a comparison. I buy a lot of stuff from the US division and being in good shape when it arrives is always hit or miss. I opened that one up and not a scratch or any other damage was to be found on the box set. I opened it up and found that the box set was packed in another cardboard box and that one was flawless and in perfect shape. Sure enough, the outer box was beat to hell even with tape from the Post Office all over it saying that it arrived damaged. Box out in the desert to where getting stuff of this size out there is kind of "a challenge". I bought from them many times over the years, but this was the first time I bought vinyl/box set of this size. First of all, I was impressed with the interior shipping from Amazon UK.
My box set arrived on Monday and I dove into it right away.
